About Samantha Marhefka
Creating stories is something I enjoy doing. When you have an active imagination, you tend to wander away from reality. Places like airports and hotels always leave me imagining lives for the strangers around me. Or long drives where you wonder about the random small towns you drive through. Then, there is always that one house, with only a single light on, that gives you the chills. So many stories. Writing them, on the other hand, was something I never considered until a few years ago.
One night, years ago, my husband had to wake me from a nightmare. Though, it didn’t end there. Those images plagued me for days. I kept reliving it over and over, like that one song that won’t leave your thoughts. I decided to write it down, thinking that would be the end of it. Only, I never stopped writing.
Piece by piece, a story formed. Werewolves of Seattle was born. From then on, the story continues to play out in my mind. And, let me tell you, what comes next for those characters is thrilling.
Bringing stories to life, sharing them with the world, is something I never considered doing until now. Looking back, I don’t understand why I never pursued this. It’s never too late.
Also, my werewolves aren’t the only story I have to tell. There are plenty more waiting to burst free, so stay tuned.
